I’ve discovered many amazing developers around the world—especially in the WordPress community—simply by visiting their personal blogs and reading their work in English. This inspired me to open up to a broader global audience. Removing language barriers by using English, the international language, makes that possible.
AI Search Engines
I’ve noticed a shift in how people search for information today: many rely heavily on Google’s AI Overviews. What’s interesting is how accurately these AI results match user intent. If you look closely at these overviews, the generated answers still cite articles from independent websites. That presents a huge opportunity for site owners to drive traffic. If our content is in English and directly answers what users are looking for, there’s a strong chance AI models will feature and recommend it.
Transitioning to English marks a fresh new chapter for this 14-year-old blog as it reaches out to a wider global audience.
